DJI is no longer including chargers with their drones, and their chargers are expensive. So I just got a $29 USB C PD Power Delivery charger that works great with the DJI Avata 2 as well as other drones.

Dude you sick with editing and helping people become better thank you !!! keep making these videos !!
Appreciate this small but important aspect of knowledge. Good video. Will be buying one.
Getting my controller in a couple days, jumping into manual right away…. Open fields!
Do you think it can work with Air3 ?
Yep, works great with the Air 3. I've been using it since the Air 3 came out.
really like the video, but I have a question, do I need a drone lisece or something like that to fly the avata 2
Good to know!
20GB too much? What internet connection are you on? Its 2024!
You don't even want to know haha. I live way out in the middle of nowhere so it's not great, but we're supposed to get gigabit fiber this year.
@@flyingfilmmaker Will make your life easier when you have fast(er) internet! Great content btw! ✌🏽
Surprised that you can't just use the goggles for bright sunlight second view only because the screens in their remotes are just not bright enough and for outdoor use at that price they should of used decent very bright screens with much less glare and again some rely on third party screens which is a hassle you should not have.
Great video. Very helpful. I think you might have the wrong graphic at 3:15 though as it shows you using the right stick to control the height.
That was the most professions video I've ever watched. Nice job.
Does this work with the macbook’s 140w charger?
great vid man! But in 11:22 you look weird hahahaha
Great video keep it up
Nice, thanks for the check list
wow love the video
Thanks! Other video's on using Goggles 3 with the D4P completely skip pairing with a phone that has the DJI Fly app, and I was unable to get my R2 to pair with the goggles. Your instruction are spot on and I am flying!
Im buying this drone thank you for the awesome video. I subbed your channel
Lut
The face that he made when he took out the goggles is so wholesome 😂 (pls like my comment) 0:29
I downloaded the sim and flew for a few minutes in manual tonight without a crash....I literally struggle to just get it to move forward or backward....
Hey man, new to FPV and have the Avata 2 also...watched your other videos and you do great work and are easy to understand....I understand camera gear extensively as I have been doing photography for years...video is a bit of learning curve but I am catching on quickly....I also crashed numerous times in manual and was getting great footage from the normal and sport modes and I was also flying some extremely tight spaces....this video has inspired me to get back into manual as I also love the different fpv perspective....I will try a simulator and in the video I seen you were able to use your DJI controller? Again great video and keep up the awesome work!
@@johnelias1268 that's awesome! Yep just plug the controller into the computer with a USB c cable 👍
Hi, thanks for the tips! however i have question, if i'm using D-Log M, can i still use rocksteady on ultra wide?
Perfect thx
That is Awesome, at first i thought this was an ad by @DJI later i realised its not. You did a fantastic job, you deserve more subscribers than this. I really appreciate your efforts to make this film @flyingfilmmaker 👏👏👏👏
Shout out to all the people who pulled a 6:21(time stamp) at some point mid flight🤣🎥🫰🏽
And b able tu use ur fingers on the screen i\as a pointer in the googles
Nice flying...😊 Did you adjust the tension on your dji fpv remote for flying in normal and sport mode?I know its needed for manual mode but should not be needed in normal /sport I guess?
Whenever I hear people say "etc" it just means to me "I ran out of examples", lol!
Very thorough review. Thanks for sharing this with us. I just purchased the Air 3, so I'm sure I'll need some ND filters, and love the fact that these apparently make both lenses even or equal. I'm not sure I said that right, but it looks good. Marc T.
great video thank you! Yeah the liftoff and uncrashed sims were awesome for me and also using the 'pinch' technique on the controller. I was amazed how micro movements can affect the flight A LOT!! Tiny movements go a long way...
OK, kinda answered my own question lol! took the plunge and tried Man mode! Dude my heart was pounding lol but I've done a few hours in the sim and that def paid off. I tried sport first and getting to that brake button quick just in case then went man without disabling the M attitude and felt ok, then disabled that and tried a few flips etc. I didn't crash so that was good lol and the sim 100% helped a LOT. I actually love the stiffer throttle in normal and sport mode, and the speed I get in man will help in certain projects but for most of my shots I can get with normal and sport mode! I will still practise in manual though but dont really need to do flips etc but its cool as flying in man mode actually seemed to improve me in normal and sport modes! Thanks again!!
Nice video thank you! If you don’t disable M Mode attitude limit, will this stop it from flipping please? I don’t need to do flips etc but would like the speed of manual mode, so would that be best for me please? I don’t want to do freestyle or race drones but might need that extra speed manual brings for when I am filming cars/bikes etc
Really appreciate the focus on the learning aspect. Been hesitant for a while. Still hesitant honestly but less than before.
DUde put it back in Normal after a crash and your done turtle mode and fly back to you I got closed line by a power line (PRO TIP CUT MOTORS ASAP as soon as you know you fucked up lol) going about 40mph smacked onto concret and rolled into grass the Avata 2 is a FRREAKING BEAST ima be posing it soon on my page luk
0:10 they are not polarized but they look like they are, lmao
RC n1 for me as i can choose my phone --> better screen and get apps and wifi. I can just have a dedicated phone
Great video! I learned flying acro the hard way too (e.g., crashing), however it was with FPV drones other than DJI. I found flying high to practice preferable to simulators, because I would get a little motion sickness from the simulators, but not when flying realtime. What is your take on 16:9 vs 4:3 with regard to videos that will be uploaded to UA-cam, as well as how they compare when actually flying? Some people prefer 4:3 over 16:9 for flying. I’m not sure yet.
Thanks! Interesting! Were you practicing with the sim on a screen in the goggles? My take on 4:3 vs 16:9 is that both work great fine for flying, but I always shoot 4:3 so I can crop 16:9 for YT videos and 9:16 vertical for IG etc.
UGH. They still haven’t fixed this. Returning my goggles 3.
Your link to the avata 2 settings comes up with the Air 2 instead! Would love to check out the settings for the Avata 2!!! Great video
After switching EIS off and setting FOV to Wide... also, also, also... don't forget to press record again... been there done that before 😆 And I think it took me 4hr in the SIM just to stop instantly crashing with throttle control.
It's actually a tie.. He added an extra point by accident here 5:50 . So actually choosing the correct controller depends on your budget!
Last week i got my Air 3. Few days later the Split ND Filters from Freeway. They work perfect for me Good, short Video with all information, you need to decide! 😉👍🏻
Great stuff man!
Get a cheaper drone to practice with. You are new you are going to crash. Everyone does. Start cheaper. Sims aren’t real life. Real life is more fun.
Great video dude! Subscribed at 14k. You’ll be at 140k soon.
Flown mine four days in a row, and have had a blast! Today wasn’t as much because of the 10-15 mph winds on the hill where I fly a lot. Discovered more of how tough a time it can have in unstable winds. I’ve watch a ton of wild FPV flying with the Avata 2 and others, but am finding the occasionally speedy acrobatic twists/turns is nice, but am shaping more into a close proximity in-house maneuvers are more what I’m into. Love too not having to have direct sight flying, like even from a closet or room and just flying the camera! Thanks for all you do!
Thank you bro for all the info. +subs from me
Greetings, can you do me the favor of telling me if buying this combo I have to buy an adapter separately.
I learned you suck at FPV. That’s what I learned.
Great video though I think you mean 2 months (not weeks) given that you started in mid April!
Haha nope, I shot this 2 weeks after I started. It just took a month and a half to get the video edited. 😅
@@flyingfilmmaker I see! lol
